Brace for City School War

Posted on 18 December 2010 by Shadow Observer

The Cambridge City School Superintendent seems to be on a collision course with the district teachers and he begins spoutin about budget cuts. The General (superintendent) of the district will not even consider cutting busing and food service at the high school or the athletic department, but has set his sights on the actual educators in the battle torn district.

The first shot over the bow of the teacher ship came with the slam by the General that the teachers dumped Race To The Top funding. The Joint Chiefs (school board) and the General spun it to mean the teachers did not want to improve student outcomes.
